This story is sweet and so powerful. You will always, always be in her heart and memory because of how you are. What a good grandmama.

Elizabeth - Sometimes I wonder what the hell I'm posting and who cares - and this made me feel so good! Thank you!

Barbara Force

I still have certain special memories shared with my grandma-she died at 85 in 1987... so as elizabeth says, you will always be in her heart and memory. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story.

Loren Stephens

Beautiful story. I have grandmother envy. A few of my friends have regular dates with their grandchildren. I am looking forward to that day. You are blessed and so is Emma to have such a cool grandmother in her life. In the meantime, I am mentoring a fourth grader in reading, and it is such fun. She comes up with the funniest things. I am going to start writing them down. Maybe there is an essay there. Hugs, Loren

Wendy Kennar

Children are a blessing. As a teacher, I am constantly amazed by their observations, their feelings, their (brutal) honesty. My students have been an inspiration for several of my essays. Thank you for sharing this sweet story with us! All the best, Wendy

Robert it's strange how some words are so evtoacive, isn't it? Sometimes even just the word breathe' is enough for us to slow down and remember to do just that. Some other time would be great who knows. There will be photos, and hopefully some video too experimenting. Thanks for your help in covering my time away Iain good point about getting space from your words hmm, you've given me an idea Joely sometimes I even feel like I need a break from twitter! (Only kidding) Thanks for your good wishesHilda I have a feeling that it will be some time let's keep in touch about how. Your Easter break sounds interesting if a little scary, but then the important stuff often is Davina thank you for that affirmation. One day I might tell you just how perfect those words are for me right now
