Hello Barbara: I saw Domingo in Tamerlano last night and was enchanted by his presence and performance. Agreed, he is truly a "Star".

Loren Stephens

Saw Domingo in a Wagner last year and he looked totally miserable and wooden. It is great to hear that he is back to his joyous self, and what a photo of Dudamel. Hope to see him in person. Just finished reading AS Byatt's The Children' Book, and am starting EL Doctorow's Homer and Langley. I need some fun in my life ... maybe I should try opera. Hugs to all and Happy Thanksgiving. What a wonderful post, Barbara! I only wish I had been in the audience with you, but the way you describe the scene has given me an injection of energy, artistic genius energy ;-), just the same.

elizabeth

So great -- I always think of Federico Fellini as being a joyous artist, too -- and Bruce Springsteen, actually. I can't wait to go and see Dudamel!
