In the moment, I'm thankful that I've been able to persevere on my novel for NaNoWriMo.

And in general, I'm thankful to have allowed myself to start writing again. It's been a supremely satisfying experience!

Becca - Bravo.

Just set my Thanksgiving table with a damask tablecloth that I found among my mother's personal effects. The table cloth had belonged to her mother, given to her by her mother, so it was touched by my great grandmother and has been handed down. It comes from Italy and is a shimmery light blue with silver grape leaves. It looks beautiful and is the perfecting backdrop for the china, etched glasses, etc. In a few hours friends and family (small group this year) will be around the table and somewhere in the ether will be the spirit of those strong matriarchs for whom I am so thankful. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Barbara, and to everyone who is reading this today. Loren
