I have one thing to say right now: Read Eat, Pray, Love. It’s in paperback. And then when you finish the book, go to Elizabeth Gilbert’s website and look at the pictures of people mentioned in the book who you’ll now regard as dear friends. This is a hilarious, serious, delicious read and I’m going to buy copies of it for all the people I love.
If you've read it, click Comment below and let us know what your thoughts are. (I’m really curious. The reviews by readers on Amazon were all over the map – from thinking she was mentally ill or an alcoholic to thinking this was a great book and loving the author.)
I read this book a few weeks ago. I absolutely loved it. I read it and then I couldn't stop thinking about it. I highly recommend it.

I gave this book to another writer for Christmas after I read a good review. She loved it and gave it back to me. I just started reading it, I'm in Italy, the first section, and I'm really enjoying it.

Adrienne - Lucky you. You still have India and Indonesia to go. (My husband is reading it too and last night said to me: "I'm about to leave Italy.")

Loved this book! I have to say that it's the first book (in many years) that I couldn't put down. I think that Elizabeth Gilbert has a wonderful ability to combine spiritual topics with real-life and make them enchanting and believable at the same time. I went to the website to check out the pictures, and was a little disappointed. What I had conjured up in my imagination didn't match what I saw. I would recommend this book to anyone with an open mind and spirit.

Andrea - Yes - I agree. She writes about her spiritual life in a very compelling way without any jargon -
