Denise Emanuel Clemen

Whaaaaaaaat??? Things are never going to calm down??? Well, that makes your book of writing exercises even more indispensable.

Tanya Ward Goodman

Thanks so much for this! I constantly find that literary events line up exactly with kid events -- am realizing that choices have to be made to maintain both my writer self and my mother self. Challenging to keep a good balance. But crucial.

Laura B

I love this post and I agree that your book is indispensable. It's on my iPad so I "dip" in whenever I want inspiration. As an "empty-nester," even without grandchildren (some day!!) I find my days interrupted when my adult children call so writing tasks are put down. I guess I'm not the only one.

Barbara Abercrombie

Yeah, Denise. Never! :)
Tanya - Right - it's all about finding that balance.
Laura - Thank you! (and, right. you're not the only one!)

Magdalena Edwards

I love this post! Very grounding. I also love your new book! xox Magdalena

Barbara Abercrombie

Thanks Magdalena - You are on expert on all this! xxo
